Our STI/HIV Prevention Program: A Three-Pillar Approach
One Check Away Inc., we believe that everyone—regardless of income, insurance, background, or identity—deserves access to compassionate, confidential, and culturally responsive sexual health services. Our STD/HIV Prevention and Care Program was created to address rising rates of sexually transmitted infections in our community and to eliminate barriers to testing, treatment, and education for those most impacted.

1. Enhanced Mobile Health Services
Bringing Care Where It’s Needed Most
Our mobile health units are expanding beyond STI/HIV testing to include:
✅ Basic Primary Care Screenings – Blood pressure, glucose levels, and preventive health education.
✅ PrEP/PEP – locate your nearest PrEP
✅ Strong Referral Network – Direct connections to primary care, dental, mental health, and substance abuse treatment providers.
We meet people where they are—literally. No barriers, no judgment, just care.

2. Housing Support & Navigation Services
Stable Housing = Better Health Outcomes
People facing housing instability are 10x more likely to contract HIV and other preventable illnesses. Our program helps by:
🔹 Navigating Housing Resources – Assistance with shelter applications, Section 8, VASH (Veterans Affairs housing), and transitional housing programs.
🔹 Community Partnerships – Collaborating with local housing authorities, shelters, and veteran organizations to streamline access.
🔹 Future Goals – Exploring direct property acquisition (e.g., HUD $1 Homes) for long-term housing stability.
Health starts with a home. We’re bridging the gap.

3. Basic Needs Support & Resource Linkage
Because Survival Shouldn’t Be a Puzzle
We connect clients to:
🍎 Food assistance (SNAP, food banks)
🧴 Hygiene products & clothing
💊 Medication access programs
⚕️ Mental health & substance abuse referrals
You can’t focus on health if you’re worried about your next meal. We remove those barriers.
