SARASOTA, FL — One Check Away, Inc. (OCAI) and the American Red Cross today announced a formal partnership under the Red Cross Community Adaptation Program (CAP). The Memorandum of Understanding designates OCAI as a CAP Partner in Sarasota County, deploying its mobile health clinic in support of both everyday community health operations and disaster response events including hurricanes.
Under the agreement, OCAI’s CLIA-certified Check Coast mobile unit will operate alongside Red Cross CAP activities throughout Sarasota County, providing vital signs screening, HIV and STI testing, naloxone distribution, and telehealth-enabled physician consultation. The unit is deployable within 24 to 48 hours of a disaster declaration and supports multilingual services in over 270 languages.
